Role Overview
The Consultant – Software Engineer will design, build, and maintain cloud-native platforms using AWS technologies and Infrastructure as Code tools. The role involves developing automation solutions, implementing CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure, and delivering secure, scalable applications that support enterprise business operations.
You will collaborate closely with cloud engineers, architects, product owners, and DevOps teams to develop reusable cloud services, automate deployments, strengthen cloud security, and continuously improve engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and develop cloud-native solutions and services using industry best practices.
- Automate cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code for cloud engineering tasks.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Workflows and GitHub Actions.
- Develop and maintain AWS Landing Zone solutions for secure multi-account environments.
- Configure and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Develop reusable cloud platform components, APIs, and developer tools.
- Automate Landing Zone deployments and infrastructure updates.
- Implement AWS security guardrails, SCPs, compliance policies, and cloud governance.
- Integrate AWS services and third-party tools into cloud workflows.
- Follow SDLC practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify project risks, dependencies, and collaborate with delivery managers.
Required Skills & Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or TypeScript.
- Experience with Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud architecture.
