KLA Hiring Freshers – Software Engineer

Job Description

KLA is a global leader in diversified electronics for the semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem. Virtually every electronic device in the world is produced using KLA technologies. The company develops systems and solutions for semiconductor manufacturing, printed circuit boards, flat panel displays, and integrated circuits.

The ICOS Vision Systems division focuses on the backend semiconductor industry by providing automated tools for inspection and sorting of integrated circuit packages.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Extend and maintain software driving wafer and panel metrology products for the semiconductor industry.
• Analyze, design and implement new features.
• Create automated tests.
• Develop and maintain supporting tooling.
• Analyze and fix bugs.
• Provide support to other team members and field engineers.

Requirements / Skills

• Good knowledge of modern C++.
• Knowledge of C# and/or Python is a plus.
• Experience using version control systems, preferably Git.
• Understanding of UML models and ability to create them.
• Ability to handle the full development cycle including requirements gathering, analysis, implementation, testing, installation and support.
• Good spoken and written English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a small team.
• Initiative-taking mindset.
