Position Overview – Software Engineering AMTS
As a Software Engineering AMTS at Salesforce, you will work on building scalable, high-performance cloud platforms used by millions of users globally. You’ll collaborate with world-class engineers to design and deliver features that customers love while maintaining the stability, security, and scalability of Salesforce’s trusted platforms.
This role spans across Salesforce products such as Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform, IoT, Einstein AI, and Security, offering diverse learning and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
As a Software Engineering AMTS, you will:
Architect, design, implement, test, and deliver highly scalable software solutions
Learn and improve Salesforce’s development processes, culture, and codebase
Collaborate with engineers, product managers, UX designers, and performance teams
Build new features that customers love while maintaining platform stability
Develop test strategies, automation frameworks, and unit/functional tests
Improve code coverage, automation metrics, and overall software quality
Analyze requirements, design test cases, and implement automated test suites
Use telemetry and performance metrics to drive operational excellence
Desired Skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals
Ability to work effectively in a team-based, fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn
Interest in cloud computing, AI platforms, and scalable systems
Familiarity with programming concepts (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc. preferred)
