Role Overview

The Software Engineer Intern will join EA’s Digital Platform engineering team and contribute to developing automation tools, system testing, performance testing, and scalable platform solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Build and integrate tools to automate processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Create, maintain, and improve game call pattern simulation code using C++ and Scala.
  • Perform stress testing and load testing for gaming platforms.
  • Design gameplay-driven testing scenarios using actual game logs.
  • Set up distributed testing environments and generate performance loads.
  • Execute tests and provide detailed analysis and reporting.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system and network performance issues.
  • Identify root causes by isolating test issues from system component issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Communicate testing progress and results effectively.
  • Follow EA’s security policies, NDAs, and development guidelines.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality execution.

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of programming languages such as C++, Scala, or Python.
