Role Overview
As an AI Engineer at HCLTech, you will become part of the Advanced Analytics and Agentic AI Innovation Team, where you will contribute to building enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence solutions using Large Language Models, cloud AI platforms, and multi-agent systems. You will work with experienced AI engineers to develop intelligent applications, automate business processes, and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions for global customers.
This role provides excellent exposure to Generative AI, cloud-native AI services, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), prompt engineering, and enterprise AI ecosystems while helping shape the future of intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Large Language Model (LLM) solutions including chatbots, summarization systems, and recommendation engines on Azure or GCP.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and prompt engineering techniques.
- Work on LLM integrations using Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar AI ecosystems.
- Develop and support Agentic AI solutions, including multi-agent proof-of-concepts and production implementations.
- Contribute to AI-driven infrastructure operations and ROI analysis for enterprise AI solutions.
Required Skills & Eligibility
- 2026 graduating batch.
- Eligible institutes: IITs, NITs, IIITs, DTU, BITS Pilani, and NSUT.
- Experience developing LLM-based solutions such as chatbots, summarization, or recommendation systems.
- Knowledge of Azure AI or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
- Knowledge of Prompt Engineering techniques.
- Exposure to Microsoft AI Foundry, Azure AI, LangChain, Semantic Kernel, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agentic AI and multi-agent implementations.
- Understanding of ROI analysis for AI-driven infrastructure operations.

Salary Insights
HCLTech has announced a compensation package of ₹10 LPA or ₹18 LPA, depending upon the candidate’s repertoire and relevant experience. The final package will be offered based on the evaluation process.
