Role Overview
As a Formal Verification Engineer, you will contribute to verifying complex digital designs, IP blocks, and System-on-Chip (SoC) architectures using advanced formal verification methodologies. You will collaborate closely with hardware design and verification teams to ensure high-quality silicon products that power NVIDIA’s industry-leading graphics, AI, automotive, and high-performance computing platforms.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to build expertise in hardware verification, RTL analysis, abstraction techniques, and digital design verification while working alongside some of the world’s leading semiconductor engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Learn and apply state-of-the-art formal verification methodologies.
- Apply best-in-class formal verification techniques on complex digital designs, IP blocks, and SoCs.
- Take ownership of design verification by developing comprehensive verification plans.
- Execute verification activities in collaboration with the hardware design team.
- Coordinate with verification engineers to achieve verification closure.
Required Skills & Eligibility
- B.Tech or M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of abstraction techniques used in formal verification.
- Hands-on experience with Hardware Description Languages (HDLs) such as Verilog or SystemVerilog.
- Ability to understand RTL designs efficiently.
- Knowledge of temporal logic assertions.
