Role Overview

The Financial Analyst role is part of the Abandoned Property Center of Excellence (COE), which is responsible for regulatory reporting, compliance, governance, and oversight of abandoned property funds. The team works closely with accounting, operations, and reporting functions to ensure accurate financial management and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Candidates will support month-end accounting activities, ledger reviews, governance processes, reconciliation activities, and reporting requirements. The role provides excellent exposure to financial operations, accounting controls, compliance frameworks, and enterprise financial systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor month-end P&L treatment, validations, and ensure accurate and timely completion of GL postings.
  • Conduct monthly review of Abandoned Property (ABP) ledgers for completeness, accuracy, and operational aging analysis.
  • Support governance of ABP Ledger including global master file maintenance.
  • Update rules, products, ownership information, and upload data into automated Tableau databases.
  • Perform monthly Trial Balance (TB) and General Ledger (GL) reviews.
  • Support new account setup, treatment rule setup, and matching rule configuration in IRIS MU.
  • Coordinate with upstream operations teams for data collection required for escheatment filing.
  • Support final due diligence activities for applicable markets.
  • Prepare and file escheatment reporting documentation.
  • Support sub-ledger preparation, uploads, reconciliations, and related accounting activities in IRIS MU.

Required Skills & Eligibility

  • B.Com degree or specialization in Commerce stream.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Access.
  • Strong PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
